Before/After School Program

Bemiss Academy serves youth from ages 5-12 years of age for our Before & Afterschool Program. We are here to provide a safe, nurturing place of supervision for school age children where there are opportunities to reinforce learning from school, teach social skills and encourage good citizenship. Our programs encompass focus areas including mentoring, positive youth development, arts, crafts, games, sports, recreation and special events.

Our goals are to help children develop to their fullest potential by focusing on:

• Physical and recreational skills.

• Self-awareness, confidence, and feelings of self-worth.

• Promoting creativity and self-expression.

• Promoting independence and decision-making.

• Interpersonal relationships

Our Before & After School Program provides transportation AM Drop-off and PM pick-up from Dewar Elementary, Scintilla Charter School, Sallas Mahone, Open Bible Christian School, Moulton Branch, and Pine Groves School Bus picks-up and drops-off directly in front of Bemiss Academy.

Hours

Before School: 6:30am-8am

After School: 3:00pm-5:30pm
